Halloween in Estepona: costumes, music and plans for a spooky night
Costume ready or still looking for inspiration? Estepona says goodbye to October with suggestions for enjoying Halloween with family or friends.
On Friday, October 30th and Saturday, October 31st , the Cancelada and Exhibition and Congress Centre celebrations will feature workshops, contests, music, and a few surprises. Mark your calendars!
Friday 30th: a Halloween afternoon in Cancelada
The Plaza de la Juventud in Cancelada will host a celebration with activities for children and adults.
The program will begin at 5:00 p.m. , with a mask painting workshop and registration for the costume contest.
These are the main opening hours:
5:00 PM: Mask workshop and registration.
5:30 p.m.: Deestreno Event Shows animation show.
7:00 p.m.: parade and costume contest.
8:00 PM: Dance performance by the Solo Flamenco Academy of Ana Guerrero.
There will be prizes of €50 for the scariest child character , €100 for the most terrifying adult character, and €200 for the group , which must have at least four members.
In addition, a roasted chestnut stand will add an autumnal touch to the afternoon.
Saturday 31st: Halloween at the Congress Palace
On Saturday, the party will continue at the Estepona Exhibition and Congress Palace from 7:00 p.m.
The program will include children's activities, bouncy castles, a costume contest, and music. Those seeking thrills can visit the "HP Lovecraft" escape room, with free registration on a first-come, first-served basis, or the haunted house, which will open at 8:00 p.m.
The awards ceremony for the competition will be at 9:30 p.m. and at 10:00 p.m. the Dr. Jones concert will begin.
